FLYING WITHIN THE U.S.
Check your ID now.
TSA says state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards used for air travel must be REAL ID compliant. A U.S. passport is among the acceptable alternatives. If you are unsure whether your license or ID qualifies, check with your state motor vehicle agency.
TSA REAL ID Compliance Guidelines ↗18 or older at travel time
TSA requires valid identification at the airport checkpoint. Check the current list of acceptable IDs shortly before departure.
Under 18
TSA does not generally require identification for children under 18 traveling within the United States. Ask the airline about any additional requirements.
